St. Isaac the Syriac

One of the most important figures in the history of the Eastern Christian Church is St. Isaac of Nineveh, (also known as St. Isaac the Syriac), who came from Araba area. He became known for his written work greatly admired and read, even more than the work of other holy fathers. He is one of the biggest and deepest teachers of the orthodox spiritual life. Therefore, his written work was spread all over the orthodox world and translated into many languages.

The Holy Great Martyr St. George

The veneration of Saint George enjoyed enormous popularity throughout the Christian world, both East and West. He was chosen to be the protector of countries like Georgia and England; thousands of churches have been dedicated to him and every Christian soul sees in him the incarnation of the virtues of valor, patience in affliction and trust in the help of grace that Christ, the Leader in battle, has enjoined on all the soldiers enrolled in His army of devotion.
